Service

Beacon is a monitoring and notification service provided by Optin Web Solutions. It checks selected public domain, email-authentication, reputation, availability, certificate, expiry, and webpage signals. Beacon does not guarantee inbox placement, uninterrupted websites, error-free detection, or prevention of loss.

Accounts and authorized use

You are responsible for safeguarding your login and for adding only domains and pages you are authorized to monitor. You may not use Beacon to probe private systems, violate law, interfere with the service, or abuse unlimited or automated access.

Subscriptions

Paid plans renew monthly until cancelled. Pricing and plan capacity are shown before checkout. Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. Cancellation prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund prior charges except where required by law.

Monitoring and alerts

Internet, DNS, provider, and network conditions can delay or prevent checks and alerts. A successful check is a snapshot of the signals Beacon could verify at that time. Customers remain responsible for maintaining their systems and responding to alerts.

Availability and changes

Features may be corrected, improved, suspended, or changed to protect security and reliability. We may suspend accounts that threaten the service, violate these terms, fail payment, or create unreasonable load.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacon is provided without warranties beyond those expressly stated. Optin Web Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from missed alerts, service interruption, email delivery, or third-party systems.
