What it does

Beacon Outreach Sender is a standalone desktop app for cold outreach — the kind of sending most cheap "mass mailer" tools get wrong. It runs entirely on your machine, sends through your own SMTP accounts (nothing routes through a third-party server), and keeps a durable local record of every send attempt so a crash, a dropped connection, or closing the app mid-run never turns into a duplicate send or a silently lost contact.

It's free because we built it for our own outreach at Beacon and decided other small teams doing cold email could use it too — no trial limits, no feature paywall, no account to create.

Built-in guardrails

Daily caps & stagger

Set a per-account daily send limit and a minimum interval between sends, so a brand-new domain can warm up gradually instead of getting flagged.

Crash-safe delivery journal

Every send attempt is durably recorded before the message goes out. A forced exit or lost connection mid-send is recovered safely on next launch, never re-sent blindly.

Multiple accounts & campaigns

Run several sending accounts and keep separate outreach lists (e.g. two different campaigns) fully isolated from each other.

Suppression list

Permanently block any address from ever being contacted again, independent of whatever CSV you load next.

Draft & approve workflow

Freshly imported contacts default to a draft state — nothing goes out until you've explicitly reviewed and approved the list.

CAN-SPAM basics

Set a business mailing address once and it's included with your sends, covering a core CAN-SPAM requirement.

How it works

  1. Add a sending accountEnter the SMTP host, port, and password for a mailbox you already own, and send a test email to confirm it before it's saved.
  2. Load your contactsImport a CSV of prospects (or generate a starter template from inside the app), then approve the rows you want to send.
  3. Start the schedulerThe app checks every 60 seconds for accounts that are eligible to send and works through your approved queue automatically.

Common questions

Is it really free?
Yes — no trial period, no feature gate, no account required to use the app.
Where is my password stored?
In Windows' own Credential Manager, never in a plain settings file.
Does it send through Beacon's servers?
No — it connects directly to your own SMTP account. Beacon never sees or handles your outgoing mail.
What if I want automatic monitoring of my sending domain's health?
That's a separate product — see below.
