For a small-business reader, first establish whether the project is a DMARC rollout or routine domain-health maintenance. Business size alone does not answer that question: even a small firm can have several complex sending systems.
EasyDMARC describes reporting and managed authentication services, including work from configuration toward enforcement. If the reader needs to identify sending sources, interpret aggregate reports, or coordinate an enforcement rollout, evaluate that workflow on its own merits.
DMARC passes when SPF or DKIM both passes and aligns with the visible From domain. Publishing a policy does not establish that every legitimate vendor meets that condition. Source inventory and real-message testing remain part of the work.
A different reader may already have working authentication and want continuing attention to email/domain health, website availability, SSL, expiry, or page changes. Beacon can be evaluated for that monitoring need. Verify the chosen plan and workflow rather than assuming the products have identical coverage.
Example: a new invoicing vendor fails DMARC. Start with source diagnosis and configuration, not a second generic monitoring subscription. By contrast, a business with verified sending paths but unclear renewal ownership needs a maintenance process as well as any tool.
Offer the free Beacon check as a baseline, and use monitoring after setup to explain the different evidence sources. Do not frame this referral as a migration recommendation unless you have reviewed the reader's actual requirements.
