A Referral Option for Smaller Clients Who Need Simple Monitoring

Complement rather than replace reseller/whitelabel use case

A partner serving managed email-security clients should separate a reseller or managed-service relationship from a simple referral. Those models create different expectations about account ownership, billing, support, and remediation.

Start with the existing service commitment

PowerDMARC presents DMARC analysis and partner-oriented services. If a client depends on a managed authentication workflow, evaluate those requirements directly. A referral to Beacon does not reproduce an existing reseller agreement or transfer the responsibilities in your contract.

Use a referral for a bounded need

A self-managing client may want a public-domain baseline and optional ongoing domain-health monitoring. Introduce the Beacon free check when that task is useful, then explain the exact paid coverage under consideration.

Do not imply the referral includes white-label branding, managed DMARC enforcement, tenant administration, or a response SLA. If any of those are requirements, verify them explicitly or keep the recommendation within the existing managed-service solution.

Write a clear handoff

The client will own this subscription and designate an alert recipient. Our existing agreement continues to define investigation and remediation. This referral does not migrate managed authentication services or change DNS automatically. We may earn a commission from the referral.

Adapt that wording to the real arrangement; do not promise a service boundary that conflicts with your contract. Confirm any applicable partner restrictions before presenting an additional offer.

The MSP referral workflow provides an operational checklist. This resource describes a decision process, not a partnership announcement between Beacon and PowerDMARC.

Current Beacon affiliate program terms

If you use this material in a placement, disclose the affiliate relationship clearly to your audience (e.g. "affiliate link — I earn a commission if you subscribe, at no extra cost to you"). See the disclosure examples resource for wording that satisfies FTC guidance. Never conceal compensation or claim results Beacon hasn't substantiated.
